The long, slender parcel of land separating St. Mary’s Bay from the Bay of Fundy is known as Digby Neck. Here, in the Bay of Fundy, is some of the best whale watching in the world. The rare Right Whale can be observed as well as other more common species such as the Humpback, Minke and Pilot whale. There are numerous whale watching tours of the Bay of Fundy from the Digby Neck area. Tours are offered from mid-May to late October.
